It doesn’t matter if it’s your product or someone else’s product you’re selling as an affiliate… you need something to promote if you’re going to make money online.

I have stated in previous messages that the hardest part of marketing online is finding a hot product to promote.

You may have heard some people saying that starting your own business is difficult. Guess what? They’re not kidding.

Starting a business, in many ways, is a lot like having a child and before you get started there are lots of things you need to think about and discuss with anyone you can.

Can You Afford to Fail?

You might have heard the old saying ‘only gamble what you can afford to lose’. Well a large percentage of online businesses fail in their first year, so if your financial situation is such that you will agonise over every small amount you spend, starting a business is probably a bad idea.

Put it this way: Expect that you will not to make any money in the first few months as very few people achieve success immediately. Most often it takes anyware from 3 to 6 months before you start to see a return for your efforts.

Can’t type or don’t have time to type but still want to create an ebook, manual or course?

You don’t really need to know how to type to create your own ebook.

There are several ways to submit your work to them to be transcribed:

1. Dictating over the phone, by dialing 1-877-DICTATE; The only equipment you will need is a touch tone telephone.

2. Submitting a digital file (.Wav or DSS) through thier website; To submit a digital file, you will need a voice recorder that creates .Wav or DSS files. There are several different digital recorders that will work. Sony digital recorders come with software to convert the Sony formatted voice file to 16 Bit .Wav. Olympus recorders utilize a DSS format that can be submitted without reformatting.

3. Submitting an analog voice recording (mini or regular cassettes) over the phone.

The cost is extremely reasonable… just .0125 cent per word.

A 160 page ebook contains approx 22,000 words so it would cost you approx $275 which is a cheap price to pay to be able to get to market with your ebook days, weeks, maybe even months ahead of the competition.

My recommendation is you prepare an outline of your book in the form of a bullet list before calling to dictate your book or recording it to your computer.

Turnaround time is… 24 minutes to 24 hours according to their site.

After your dictation is transcribed they send it to you in a plain text file, so be prepared to complete the ebook with your own formatting, graphics, etc…

Information overload is a huge problem for the majority of internet marketers. Some of the comments like, “I’m experiencing severe information overload”, are accompanied by statements that indicated a great deal of confusion and the inability to know what to do to even start an online business.

I know. Because I used to suffer from this 21st century disease and have completely overcome it and haven’t experienced a relapse in over years.

Here’s what I experienced:

I was so eager to learn the ’secrets’ of Internet marketing I purchased books from ClickBank and just about any website that offered even a single idea that could push me into success.

Of course, after 5 to 6 hours a day of reading I would feel what most of the online marketers feels: Confusion, despair… I even felt worse off than I was before!

Isn’t that strange?

I felt worse off than I was before.

But why?

That was strange… I read, studied and absorbed whatever information I could. I wanted to learn, so why did I feel worse off than before?
