Keeping Up With Trends

There are 2 websites that I have been keeping an eye on for a while and I think they deserve your attention now because one is ready now and one is almost ready to roll out.

The first is SynthaSite.

SynthaSite is the brain-child of a South African firm, incubeta.

What is Synthasite? Simply put, it’s a drag and drop affiliate website builder. Synthasite was built in order to build fast, reliable affiliate sites using amongst others, eBay, Yahoo API s’ with more to follow.

These sites are targeted directly at a certain product or service. It’s a site you definiety want to bookmark and while you’re there, sign up for the second round of Beta Testing.

Website #2:

There’s been a lot of talk lately in Internet Marketing inner circles about ‘the long tail’.

If you have heard that phrase and don’t know what it’s about or have never heard it but are curious what the big deal is and why I’m telling you about it, there’s a site you need to see- it’s right on the cutting edge of the long tail phenom.

http://www.hittail.com/

They have a great video that explains the long tail concept in terms that are so simple, anyone can finally understand what the big deal is:

They also have a free service to help you start to take advantage of the long tail concept.

Yep, it’s free ;-)

Is Your Host Blacklisted?

When you’re on a shared server it’s important to find out if anyone else on your server has been blacklisted for spamming.

Why?

Because on a shared server you’re IP address and their IP address will be the same, and it does not matter if your domain name is different, you’ll still be blacklisted along with every other person on that server.

If you’re building an email list this will affect how your email gets handled by the major ISP… probably banned.

One way to check and make sure you’re not getting blacklisted is to look up your IP address that your site is hosted on here:

That will tell you what’s going on with your shared server. If it’s got a lot of listings you might want to find a another host before attempting to build an email list.

A Simple Way To Send Letters That Get Noticed

Sometimes a letter to your prospects is the best way to close a sale.

This site allows you to send attention-getting mail and it’s very easy to use.

You can send one letter at a time and the cost is reasonable- $1 for printing, the envelop, the paper and the postage!

Check them out,

PS: For larger jobs they have a direct mail company that sends personalized direct mail to your in-house or purchased list. http://www.integram.com
